Something big is coming to the Philippines, and we’re ready to say it out loud…
WordCamp Philippines is happening on August 28 and 29 at the Iloilo Convention Center.
Our team met with Iloilo City Mayor Raisa Treñas and walked away with something we’re grateful for: the full support of the local government.
But why Iloilo? The city kind of chose itself. It has the food, the rich culture, the central location, the newly opened international flights, and a strong home base for the Philippines’ growing tech community. Iloilo doesn’t just feel like the right place. It is the right place.
For our kababayans, this is more than a tech event. It’s a reminder that the Filipino workforce belongs on the global stage — and it starts right here on home soil.
This August, we show up.
And we’re just getting started. Stay close. This is going to be something worth being part of.
