How Lupang Hinirang Ought to Be Sung: Joey Ayala at TEDxDiliman
Changelog:Watch the video on YouTube: How Lupang Hinirang Ought to Be Sung: Joey Ayala at TEDxDilimanI may have missed more, but I'm not that good with music anymore. Overall, I think it does reflect what we Filipinos mostly are. I hope someone, sooner or later, makes the law to adopt this.
- Changed time signature from 4/4 to 6/8 to better portray how laid back Filipinos really are.
- Corrected pronunciation of phrases "sa dagat at bundok, sa simoy at," "may dilag and tula," and "ang kislap ng watawat" among other phrases where the stress is misplaced due.
- Changed last two lines to say "Aming ligaya, na pag may mang-aapi, ang magmahal ng dahil sa iyo."
- Also added group hug at the end to further make the point that we are peace-loving people.
Additionally, listen to and/or download a normalized and equalized snippet of just the anthem/song in mp3 format below: [soundcloud url="https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/120425710" width="100%" height="166" iframe="true" /]

TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a global set of conferences owned by the private non-profit Sapling Foundation, under the slogan "ideas worth spreading". TEDx is an international community that organizes TED-style events anywhere and everywhere -- celebrating locally-driven ideas and elevating them to a global stage. TEDx events are produced independently of TED conferences, each event curates speakers on their own, but based on TED's format and rules.
