At a local mom-and-pop grocery (M&W Townstore) whenever the fam and I are in town (Pila, Laguna), I’ve been seeing these bottles of some “tonic wine” I’ve never heard of.
With a label like this, how can one not be curious?

Methinks this is the kind of stuff that the Kung Fu “drunken master(s)” I used to watch on T.V. in the ’80s were chugging.

A good burger (pun intended; we get those, too!) won’t last very long in this house. We highly suspect that Crave Burger might be putting a little Shabu (meth) in their thick, all-beef patties because they are so addicting.

Our unplanned visit to Mang Larry’s Isawan at the U.P. Diliman almost two weeks ago lacked je nais se quoi. After taking the boys out on a late afternoon stroll around the Sunken Garden today, we brought it with us during a return trip to the famous barbecue cart.
We brought fresh, hot pandesal (salt bread rolls).
