Spotted on Quezon Avenue this morning:
Ang Daming Daan
It’s a pun on Ang Dating Daan, which translates to “The Old Path” or “the old way(s)”. On the jepeney’s mudguard, it means, “the many paths/ways/roads”.

The car show was a blast. It took up the whole of Saturday and was hella fun. “Tsiks and tsikots”, as I put it. Woohoo! We sweat buckets, too. Thanks to Rikx for the advice on bringing extra shirts, folding chairs, and lots to drink.
I had to replenish the San Miguel Pale Pilsen (the best beer in the world!) I perspired. Good thing there was the Jagermeifter (Jagermeister) bus on-site. xp
The Pics! Where are the pix!? Photos taken using Ronnie’s and Noel’s cameras are up!

Took my month-old Nokia 6300 for a spin by recording an amateur video last night at Zensho Teppanyaki Restaurant and Sushi Bar, Tomas Morato, Quezon City.
Eat-all-you-can for PhP 485++ per person. Watch Chef Rogelio show off like flipping egg shells into his cap.
For the same price range, it’s definitely a way much better deal than at the Triple V group’s Saisaki, Kamayan, and Dad’s Restaurants where the quality of food, service, and hygiene (at any of their branches) has taken a major dip.

What is it about the view from a very high vantage point (on stable ground) that can be so relaxing? Here’s a shot that does the trick:
View from Tagaytay Highlands: The Spa & Lodge
Photo taken facing north-east, I think
Add that to an afternoon at the spa, getting pampered and massaged and there you have temporal bliss – until the Metro Manila traffic strangles you on your way home.
