punch.gifThis is me.

Your madness has gone too far and for too long. Like I told you,

“You reap what you sow.”

You are so messed up and have been driving me nuts. Your lashes never cease. You still kick me when I’m down and defenseless. You always fight dirty. You perennially cut up healed wounds to keep them bleeding. You are mean. Is evil your ambition?

The expected midnight 30-minute-or-less drive from Boni Avenue in Mandaluyong to the Domestic Airport in Pasay took two grueling hours! Thanks to Murphy’s Law. At first, we thought it might have been due to yet another stroke of genius in roadworks by the MMDA, but were proven wrong when we finally passed the cause of our ire (and that of a million other motorists behind us).

WTF?!

We caught our end of the traffic jam shortly after exiting the Arnaiz Avenue (Pasay Road) tunnel on EDSA. Within the first hour, traffic must have been backed up all the way past Ayala Avenue and Buendia Avenue - maybe even up to Estrella (Rockwell) or even Guadalupe.

Check out the photos I was able to take using my crap camera phone while finally being able to drive squeeze past the cause of the incident.

…come to an end.

She’s back.

It’s past 4 A.M.

Her unpacking (which of course cannot wait until sunrise and a good night’s rest - well, whatever little is left of it), has woken up my Dad and my sister and is keeping me awake.

AAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

She will outlive us all.

De Anu et Ancillis: The Old Lady and Her Maids (translated from Latin)

A certain old lady had in her house several maids. Every day, before it was light out, she roused them to work at the song of the rooster whom she kept at the house. Finally the maids, prompted by the weariness of their daily tasks, cut off the rooster’s head, hoping that now, with the rooster dead, they would be able to sleep until noon. But this hope deceived the wretched maids. For when their mistress learned the rooster had been killed, she then ordered the maids to wake up in the dead of night.

may25-2.jpgEventhough today was spent just like any other weekday, with me having been up all night at work, coming home just to zoom off again to run household errands while fending off drowsiness, then making it back to the house to eat, do some laundry, watch a DVD, and finally catch some Z’s for yet another night shift at work, there is a lot for me to be thankful for:

  • I turned 29 today
  • My Dad was discharged from the hospital last week and is recovering at home
  • His post-op tests are negative for traces of the evil cancer that plagued him
  • Mom left for Cebu two days ago, is getting R&R (and so are we at home)
  • Most of all, 2-3 weeks ago, Sarah said Yes

    Before the big question

In Medal of Honor Airborne, you can choose to land anywhere in the combat space which means infinite variation in how you beat the mission! As the enemy moves out, battle lines can form anywhere. So enemy postions are different every time.

This latest installment in the MOH series promises to be kickass with a new twist. To be released on August 28, 2007. Check out the trailers and in-game action below:

Check out Joseph, the beatbox sensation of Nouvelle Star 2007 (Season 5). The show is a French reality television show based on the popular British show Pop Idol. It’s like ze French counterpart of the more popular American Idol.

How many sets of vocal chords does this guy have?! He breezes (or should I say spits?) through selections like Michael Jackson’s “Billy Jean”, Usher’s “Yeah!”, some Pharrel Williams, Diana Ross, Yoshimoto, Rahzel and Jay-Z in the audition videos below.
